rules

character journals should be standard in character type without excessive use of underscores. please make sure there is both a backdated in-character/friends only post & an out of character contact post. screening comments and having them friend's only is okay. once you've been added to the community, the standard rp rules apply. don't blur ic/ooc, no plagiarism, all sensitive subject matter should be handled with respect and a bit of research. don't be a general asshole to other players out of character. to be accepted to this community you will need at least two scene examples and either two narrative examples OR a full fledged biography for your currect character application. all credits must be filmed/released as they are in real time. the five year guideline in age of credits to their real life counterpart is standard here. you may use ONE credit of your current played-by if wanted, but otherwise try to mix and match from other actor's careers. do not whitewash credits. race-bending credits is allowed for situations where it would make sense for race to be a nonfactor for the character in question. all musical artist credits mean you are claiming all past and future side projects. directors, writers, models, athletes you are claiming all of the real life's counterpart credit sheet. be aware that anyone with ridiculous or impossible credits will be denied. (ie: no one will be filming year round while also trying to claim top of the charts musical/touring credits) be realistic. any further comments, questions, or arising issues can be directed toward the mod dropbox. thank you for your interest and we hope to see you apply! we're striving for an active and welcoming community here, and hope the mods are a part of that.

activity

this game is not going to be the place where you come to psl with your one storyline. we will require one entry a month (either in the subcomm, or in your character journal) without comments disabled for people in the community to comment and react on. what type of entry is up to you. all we ask is that the character posting also replies to at least 50% of the comments in the entry as well to be considered fufilling the activity requirement for the month. upon your acceptance to the game, your first month activity requirement will be met upon your introduction post as long as 50% of comments are replied to. we cannot force anyone to be active, but please comment around and have conversation with other players in game. we're striving for community interaction, and if it becomes apparent that your character only shows up for their own required activity update and disappears for the rest of the month, that character will be eligible for removal. so please, get out there and be active. we want this place to feel active and welcoming for the community as a whole. we welcome any ideas members may have to help foster community interaction. feel free to post ooc plot type posts for major events that celebrities might be attending.
